Lipper Advisory Services, Inc. is a SEC registered investment advisor that was established in response to requests for advice on investing in mutual funds.  Founded by A. Michael Lipper, CFA, Lipper Advisory Services, Inc. has been advising endowment and foundation trustees, retirement plan sponsors, and wealthy families since 1981.

Mr. Lipper has over 40 years investment industry experience as a registered investment advisor, the CEO of a New York Stock Exchange member firm, and as an analyst of and consultant to the investment company business.  In 1998, Mr. Lipper sold Lipper Analytical Services, Inc., a globally recognized databank of information about investment companies that he founded in 1973, to Reuters plc.
